Abandon ego to prosper in writing. Many writers take offense to suggestions, except if it comes from a well-known author. What they misunderstand with any type of suggestion is that it’s only guidance. It’s not a command, but a nudge. If you’re new to writing or have been doing it for a long time, stay open to new ways. It just might open a new portal between you and your characters and story.
